Most Macs from 2020 onward are Apple Silicon.

Mac first launch: drag NorthStarWay into your Applications folder, then open it normally from Finder. The Mac builds are signed, notarized, and stapled.

Choose Apple Silicon for M-series Macs, or Intel for older Intel Macs.

Windows: this private beta build is signed by North Star Way LLC. SmartScreen may still say “Windows protected your PC” while Microsoft reputation warms up; click More info, confirm Publisher: North Star Way LLC, then Run anyway. First launch can take about a minute while antivirus scans the bundled files.

Linux: download the AppImage, make it executable, then run it. Example: chmod +x NorthStarWay-latest-x86_64.AppImage

You’ll need your own AI subscription (ChatGPT Plus/Pro, Claude, or an OpenRouter key) — the app walks you through connecting it on first run.
